‘the oldest profession (graverobber)’ is a book of cut-up poetry and collages written between 2022 and 2025; some are funny, some are not funny (on purpose). it is the first poetry collection i have ever published so be nice (or die) x
what is a cut-up? pretty self-explanatory, bud. take some words, cut ‘em up, rearrange ‘em into a new sentence with a new meaning. i like to cut up phrases and words, rather than sentences ‘cos sentences feel like cheating. i do it over time, keep ‘em in a box, break ‘em out for fun. then, stuff like this happens.
